Care Africa is a non-profit organization founded by Magala Grace, Mbaalu Fred, and David Bateganja, along with a group of people who are passionate about improving the futures of vulnerable children, unprivileged youth, and teenage mothers.
We are a non-profit organization founded by people who are passionate about providing a better life and future for under-privileged children in our community of Kampala, Uganda. Our mission is to provide support through education for orphaned and vulnerable children, and teenage mothers. Many of the children staying at our Kabuuma Center have found their way to us from war-torn neighboring countries and are in desperate need of basic necessities of life; such as food, clothing, and water.
The organization was established with the main purpose of supporting families to improve their standards of living through education for new skills and development of self-sustaining and self-reliance activities within the REG.NO. WCBO/19/3016, as indicated. The organization has 137 vulnerable children, 42 youths and 18 teenage mothers. Of those, 37 children stay at the orphanage centre, while others stay with their guardians in their communities.
